a small band of crackpot car enthusiasts with questionable employment records and a penchant for 11th-hour miscommunication. For motives not fully understood (although alcohol is suspected), these men prepared
a Machine--The Machine--in response to what they blatantly misinterpreted as a desperate call from the California
desert for "The 24 Hundred Lemons." Somehow, this concert of pure ineptitude
will deliver, beyond all expectations, the Refreshment Destiny and, in turn, save the world.
